FAQ 2
A: PupSavers reserves the right of refusal of adoption to persons under the age of 18, persons with no income, persons who own 3 or more dogs, persons adopting a puppy for someone else, persons who have surrendered an animal within 2 years of wanting to adopt, persons who refuse to spay/neuter the animal, persons who were convicted of animal abuse, persons who have been convicted of child, sexual or domestic abuse. If someone purposefully gives false information on the adoption application, PupSavers reserves the right to reclaim the animal.
A: Adopters prefer little puppies that are cute and fuzzy, but sometimes a young puppy is not the ideal choice for everyone. There are good reasons to adopt older dogs: they're socialized and house trained, they've come out of the chew everything in sight phase, they sleep through the night, there are less health risks, and they're eager learners when obedience trained. An adopter gets the dog without all the puppy issues and hassles!
A: PupSavers’ goal is for every adoption to be
successful. However, once and awhile, there are some circumstances beyond our
and an adopter’s control. In the event there is a problem with an adoption,
Debra Maxey, President and Director of PupSavers will evaluate the individual
situation with the adopter to arrive at a resolution. However, we will not give
refunds. We do not reimburse for any medical or any other costs incurred after
adoption.
